Ramstein has more patients since the "wave"
In the American Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany, the number of patients received since the "Surge" land has increased sharply. The Air Force personnel overtime shifts to the increase in patients to be sustained, said Major Paul Langevin, of the 85 people under him in that unit. They work around the clock in order to transport the patients and prepare for the flights. The months of May and June were the strongest ever for the staff which is the wounded soldiers from Afghanistan and Iraq worry. In May, there were 1'545 "patient movements" and in June 1'564.
Ramstein Air Base is the Anfliegepunkt for the wounded U.S. soldiers need medical care, either to nearby military hospital in Landstuhl, the US or in hospitals continue. See this information from our own military newspaper Stars and Stripes, and so is my article on the real number of U.S. soldiers here.
